We love what we do and strive to keep our work fresh, fun and unique, offering something for everyone.Facing East at Pemaquid Point, watercolor by Brooklyn Artisan executive editor Joy Makon. This is really important to us and is something we have been doing in all aspects of our lives for over 25 years. ![]() We never buy new product, EVERYTHING is recycled and reused and there is no 'process' used to age the metal and give it a rusty look, it is all in its original patina or colour as it was sourced. Every single creation is cut freehand using a handheld plasma - this in turn with the metals rusty patina, pitted steel, faded worn paint, holes and scratches gives it its own unique story, character and personality. The primary focus with our art is on the utilization and upcycling of old and discarded metal materials. We live in Port Alberni (a fishing town en route to the popular Westcoast) so our art features an extremely strong salmon and ocean theme accompanied by our birds that everyone loves! We are a husband and wife team focused on creating beautiful art for your home and garden using 100% recycled metals. Patricia’s work can be found in collections throughout the world.
